Sustain Video is racing to become a genuinely carbon neutral company and we expect our sustainability journey to constantly evolve. Simply offsetting is not enough.
Here are the steps we’ve made so far:
Moving to an office in New Mills’ historic Torr Vale Mill, which is heated by a heat pump and uses renewable electricity.
Donating 3% of our profits to local projects making a positive environmental impact through our Sustain Giving initiative.
Signing up to the PAS2060 Carbon Neutrality scheme and training, through the British Standards Institute.
Planting trees for every project we complete through Derbyshire County Council’s ‘Million Trees’ programme.
Using second-hand furniture in our office and saving it from landfill.
Lowering staff travel emissions by adopting a hybrid working model.
Working remotely with clients, using public transport wherever possible.
Banning single-use plastic, metal and coffee cups in our office.
